May be I was the only one not knowing that, but just in case it might be useful to some of you. I took the chance to mount the ZM 35/2 on the CLE. No problem at all! Both the meter and rangefinder seem to work. Guess what frames it will bring? I had expected the 40, but it is instead the 28!
Usually I use my M5 with this lens. However, there are a few glitch I want to better investigate in my M5 (e.g the lazy counter which does not reset). Maybe she will be soon on a trip to Solms. Meanwhile I don't need to shell for another body and I will be lighter on my next long haul trip.
It remains the guesswork of a narrower angle of view. I decided to dare. Wish me luck.
Regards

28 is the default frame on the CLE; when nothing triggers the finder system, that's what turns up. My Voigtlander 28/3.5 is on a 35/135 M adapter for this reason.

add: the CLE has frames 28, 40 and 90 mm.

Thank you Joe! I should have guessed it myself! That's one reason I like this place so much. There is always somebody that knows more than I do and teach me something.
