It's nice to see that the 35/2 Biogon renders as a mix of the 25 Biogon and the 50 Planar. I think that David's shot of the girl in the pool is a perfect example of this.
It's a sharpness of subject that really pop's the features, really smoothly handled tones/greys, and a bokeh with detail and depth.
The lack of distortion, when compared to my CV 35/1.4 is very clear indeed too. I'm certainly happy to lose a stop of light to gain all of those aspects. I think I'll pass on my CV 40/1.4 when I finally pick one of these up, but keep the 35/1.4 for when a more classic look is required.
