I like to think I was shooting the ZM Biogon 2/35 before it was cool :D

It's nice to see that the 35/2 Biogon renders as a mix of the 25 Biogon and the 50 Planar. I think that David's shot of the girl in the pool is a perfect example of this.

It's a sharpness of subject that really pop's the features, really smoothly handled tones/greys, and a bokeh with detail and depth.

The lack of distortion, when compared to my CV 35/1.4 is very clear indeed too. I'm certainly happy to lose a stop of light to gain all of those aspects. I think I'll pass on my CV 40/1.4 when I finally pick one of these up, but keep the 35/1.4 for when a more classic look is required.

Thanks for all the lovely photos everyone!

Loving the 2/35 ZM output.

I'm a Nikon D700 and 2/35 ZF2 user, but I'm seriously considering a move to Leica. I've recently tried out an M240 at a 'test drive' in Leica, Mayfair. They were good enough to strap a 35mm Summilux on the body for me.

A quick question for you Biogon users. The focus tab on the Summilux I used was quick to get used to and helpful in presetting focus distance before bringing the camera up to my eye. With the focus tab on the Biogon, is this as intuitive? Lined up in the same way as the Leica version? Same amount of focus ring travel?
