Once I receive my Biogon in the mail, I will use it and then post here some images with it. This thread convinced me to get such a lens. I will send you all the bill soon!

Just to say, that this thread reminded me of how great this lens is, so I've just bought one...AGAIN!
It arrived today, and I must say it is delightful: the size and the handling is perfect and the image quality is superb: better than the Lux FLE on the M240 and only marginally surpassed by the Distagon 35 ZM at f2. I think I may settle on this one and sell the FLE.

Till now I enjoy it on film and now on the A7
I have the Biogon and am thinking of getting an A7ii. Are there any problems with the Biogon at wider apertures? Did you compare it to any other 35mm lenses?

Slight issues at the extreme corners with my 7r, otherwise it is wonderful

It really does! I always thought the Zeiss "3D effect" is an urban myth, but your image is clearly proof that it exists. What's the cause? Better edge sharpness, better color separation?![]()

This one was F2.2 and scanned with a nikon coolscan 8000 at 4000dpi on portra 400.
If you bite on a zeiss you'll definitely see that 3D pop in a lot of images. Not an urban myth at all
