ZM + Hexanon M 35/f2.0

Hi there,
I'm new on this forum and have a question about the framelines in my ZI viewfinder. When I attach a Hexanon M 35mm f2.0 to my camera do the 35mm framelines pop up? Or do they only appear in combination with ZI lenses? It is a rather newbie kinda question, but I have this ZI Rangefinder for just 4 months now and never used other lenses beside my 28mm one. Thanks for your help!

Same M-mount so the 35mm frameline should show up correctly.

Hi I think you'll find they pop up. I think you will see the numbers 35 on the framelines if my memory of the Ikon viewfinder serves me right. I'm sure if I have that wrong someone else will chip in

Thanks for your replies. Nigel thanks for your compliments on my work. Nothing on my website has been shot with the ZM. It is all digital in fact. But since a year or so I am hooked to film (again), shooting with this ZM and a Mamiya 7.

I have that lens and that camera ... no problem!

One of my rangefinders wasn't totally happy with the Hexanon but I can't remember which one it was ... possibly something I've since sold! 😛
