Zorki 3m rewind

I just ran two rolls through my 3m and when rewinding the second roll the rewind would not release. The first roll was fine but the second I had to depress the shutter for each frame as I wound the film back. On my other fsu cameras the coller around the shutter release is held down when rewinding but the 3m does
not move, is this normal? I have not used this camera much so I just don't know what to expect.

The Zorki-3M has a little lever in front of the shutter release instead - set it to the "B" position to release it for rewind.

Hi Alan,

I set to B and the first roll wound off with no problem. The second roll started to and then stoped and I had to depress the shutter to disengage the sutter release. The shutter never fired, as the lever was at B. If I had known that it was not going to work the next time I would have looked to see how it was when it was working, now it is to late for that so I hope someone else has one that is working and can tell what to look for. Should the coller around the shutter release depress to diengage the shutter?

No. With the exception of rotating when the shutter is cocked, the collar doesn't move on mine.
