I was going around Betlemské Namesti today in Prague for work reasons, and when arriving on the spot where I was to setup the computer installation, my colleague from audiovisual department (I think he's reasonably 35 to 45 years older than me --27) indicated me a photography shop nearby.
After spending there about 25 minutes both drooling on the outside presentation, I decided to enter and found a very nice collection of cameras there. I had few cash on me, and must save up for my trip in France, so here I am now proud owner of a very lovely Zorki-3S from 1958. The camera is in very good shape and all works perfectly!
Now I know another nice location for my hunter seeker GAS attacks!

Congragts on your camera.... Is it getting hard to find film in eastern europe? Are the camera shops carrying more digital than film? Sounds like the shop you just found is cool...

The 3S is a great camera--basically a Zorki 4 w/o the self timer but a much better build than the later Z4s. I consider my 3S one of my best Zorki picture-takers. Enjoy!

Thank you! Film is easy to find here, I have access to all the possible kinds. Here digital photography is developing rapidly as well, but it is still possible to find everything one needs from film to developers

I agree with you that it has a great solid feel in the hand. To me it still doesn't compares to my Kievs (esp. the Kiev-2's) but definitely a good sturdy camera

I will definitely return, it is smaller than the shops in the center, but a bit cheaper, and the seller is quite welcoming and helpful. And it's not far from a colleague's flat
