Maybe this is a result of the "baseline" I keep hearing about, but I really notice a difference in magnification in the viewfinder between the Zorki 4 and FED 2. It seems almost 50% more magnification on the Zorki 4. Since I'll be using 50 mm lenses on both I'm curious which is actually closer to the final image on film.
I plan on test shooting both as soon as it stops raining!
The Z 4 is the easiest to dismantle of the FSU cameras I've had, so far.....
I like the range of shutter speeds, although the slows are way off.
I already see a project to add a modification to the advance knob on the Z4. I like the FED 2 knob much better.
I spruced up the Z4 with a new pebble leather skin, and touched up the black trim. I'll leave it chrome finish (for now anyway).
