unfortunately most of these were long exposure,
but of the 3 daytime shots, the exposure seems even

zorki 1 and industar 22

Looks a little soft, you may want to check your flange to film distance.
BUT
Your photo number two is really really fun. Nice shot.

Hey phillip ~ guess I missed this thread a couple of days ago. ooops. (not much gets by me in the FSU section 🙄 ). Anyway, your first weirded me out when I suddenly saw a hand appear out of nowhere!! 😎 Strange lighting in #2 there, but cool. I like it. Third shot shows plenty of detail to me.

Several guys come through the FSU forum looking for "which FSU to buy/what's the best? etc. etc. IMHO, your combo, Zorki.1/Industar.22 is the most fun and [probably] most reliable of the Zorkis (and maybe of all). I've got two.

Anyway, looks like you did good on the diy-cla. Exposure looks pretty darn even to me. Keep shootin' and enjoy.

thanks!

the stange lighting in the second shot is due to the fact that it
was taken a little past midnight. went with the hyperfocal since
the rangefinder is all but useless in the dark (maybe a laser pointer
would be a handy tool for that?).

the other two daytime shots were ones where the left side of the
frame happened to be in brighter light, so i'm not positive i'm out
of the woods just yet. the film advance is SUPER smooth now, though!

Hi, seems that the ZORKI 1 is really inspiring camera,I really like shot 1, how did you manage the reflectoin of the guy seating in the chair???

I got mine 3 weeks ago and can't stop shooting with! http://www.pbase.com/praxed/zorki_1 this is where I put my shots made with the ZORKI 1, I think I'll sell my Leica gear, most of the time it stays on the shelf..... when I got my Zorki all the time with me ready to shot.....

Hope you'll enjoy the ZORKI 1 as I do!

the first pic had the shutter open for about 120 sec
taken around midnight

i waited about 60 seconds, sat down and tried to stay
as motionless as possible for 45 seconds, then got up
and closed the shutter about 15 seconds later

right before this roll i got a tripod and cable release, and
kind of went nuts with the long exposure shots
