About 6 years ago I found 100 plus feet of one of the Movie trailers in a creek bottom . 30 percent of it was damaged from what looks like the projection bulb. Anyway here are some scans from parts of it.

More from the set, as you can see some of the frames had color problems. The stuff was a mess, all wrapped up in downed tree limbs , wet and muddy.

Cleaned it up best I could.

Tom, this is a cool story...looks like they cleaned up really nice and I would have them printed, framed and hung on the wall!

As a kid, I was crazy about Zorro!

thanks dave , it was a nice find but it is a pain to go through to find the good frames, I'm not much into the film used in movie production but , each image is like a half frame of 35mm .

Three more from the sword fight .

It would be more accurate to say that leica format is like a double frame of 35mm.

Hmmm...never knew that movie film was so much smaller...learn something new everyday on RFF!

Now, if I am not mistaken, is this from the Banderas' Zorro film a few years ago? I still think these images would be fantastic framed and such.

That was a fun movie with Catherine Zeta-Jones and Antonio Banderas.

The prints look very glamorous!
