I have always pronounced it zoo-i-ko, and always heard it pronounced that way. My understanding is that Japanese always pronounce all vowels. Japanese speakers may say i am wrong.
On the older rangefinders, and scale focus ZooWeeeKoes...
If there is a letter in front of the Zooeyko, the letter represents the number of glass elements in the lens. For instance a G. Zweekoe lens has 7 lens elements.... F. = 6, etc.
