Anyone here using the CS 9000 and fluid scanning?

I bought the scan science kit from Julio for the 9000. Julio is great at helping out too!! Without much prep I did the same BW neg wet and dry. The wet has much better shadow detail, with the dry, the shadows blocked up and got blotchy/noisy.
I need to get a better work-flow set up. It really takes no extra time than doing a regular 9000 correctly.
If I find the scans I can post them, they were only a quickie test so I may not have saved them.

How about graininess? The fluid mount is supposed to reduce grain too. I am using a glass carrier for all my scans, but it is the Nikon Rotating Glass carrier, not a fluid mount. Sharpness is much improved with my glass carrier over the regular carriers but I have considered trying fluid if it reduces grain.

That would be great Brian if you could find them. I am also interested in the grain.

Are you still using the ScanScience kit?
