It's the kind of surrealism you run into at some events I guess. I recall at the LPLG-weekend in Holland last year: I went to answer nature's call. Next thing I know, I'm standing at the urinal between a Roman soldier and a Cowboy in my WW2 US Army uniform. 😀

As for US cars in Holland. Friend of mine has a '58 Oldsmobile, and I have a Willys MB from '43.

Wolfhard, will you be at the next LPLG-weekend in September? Perhaps we'll run into eachother. I'll be the GI with a Leica IIIa around his neck.

It's the annual event for all living history groups connected to "Het Landelijk Platfrom Levende Geschiedenis" held near Mill this year. A chance to see all re-enacted periods of time. Roman, medieval, 80 Year war, Napoleontic, American Civil War, Mexican Revolutionary war, Western Frontier, Boer war, World War 2 and the Vietnam War. And a few others.

But that's enough off-topic banter from me 😉
