Imagine you have a lens system made of (brand does not matter):
12 - 15 - 21 - 25 - 28 - 35 - 40 - 50 - 75 - 90
You must remove lenses one by one based on focal preference until you get to one. (name your camera for comparison purposes)
RD1 (crop factor 1.5):
12 - 15 - 21 - 25 - 28 - 35 - 40 - 50 - 90
12 - 15 - 21 - 28 - 35 - 40 - 50 - 90
12 - 15 - 21 - 28 - 40 - 50 - 90
15 - 21 - 28 - 40 - 50 - 90
15 - 21 - 28 - 40 - 90
15 - 28 - 40 - 90
15 - 28 - 90
28 - 90

So if you have time to lose, go ahead😉. I found it to be an interesting exercise to rationalize kits based on constraints (travel, space, ...)
Edit : I'll try to do a small analysis of the patterns if the sample is big enough.
