My girlfriend is interested to find some photos done by euro/american fashion photographers (according to her chinese fashion photographers for the most part suck because chinese fashion sucks), we have exhausted the obvious hits from the google search page and now reach out to your folks for those hard to hit names and frankly anything you can think up.

Ps. she likes the more artsy types, with a euro taste, and anything with clothes, makeup, and so on

Thanks :)

How bout Norman Parkinson
he was Fab
...a bigger than life personality and indeed Quite Tall & a True Gent

Best-H :)

Thanks for those, exactly the type of stuff she is looking for.

While im at it, she has a 5D and is very much in love with my yashinon ds 50 1.4 and she uses that for fashion shoots but finds she is having focus problems with the screen in the camera, which manual focus screen should she be looking for? If there is one that has a split image prism that would be great too.

There's no splt-image screen for an AF camera, as far as i know. Canon has an EE-S screen for the 5D, and it does make it a bit easier to focus manually, but it's not a huge jump.

Haoda _does_ make a split prism screen for the 5D

One of the best at the moment is paolo roversi, his work is absolutely stunning, it's quite interesting, some of the images from the photographer mentioned above, Eugenio Recuenco, has a similar feel but I don't think it has the beauty of Roversi's, see what you think, roversi is using large format film and what look to me like old school darkroom, and the other just looks very PS to me, great photos but not quite the same soul. I also love Tim Walker's work, he was a guest at a wedding I photographed once, fortunately I wasn't so familiar with his work then so I didn't feel too intimidated, think I would now, but he said he shoots colour neg, 35mm and MF.
