This Winogrand image from the slideshow I've always had a fascination for. I was born in Albuquerque, the same year this was taken (1957.) The house appears to be on the east edge of town, with the Sandia Mtns in the background. The "U" (for UNM) painted on the foothill is no longer visible, and the city is built up to the edge of the mountain.
I've been thinking a fun project would be to try and locate this house and rephotographing it. Is the street number "208" or "1208"?

Thanks, George. Now I need to find which street it's on. East side of town, obviously. The street number gives me a range of houses north of Central Ave. Should be fun.
