I was walking home from work when I came across this protest... it was cold... I was late and I seriously considered just walking past, but I decided to pull my camera out instead.
I was attracted not by his situation or surroundings, but by the Pepsi poster in the middle of everything. Shot with my camera at waist level while walking.
I was going to pass this one because I've shot here several times before (on my way home from office). This day was the same. One guy sitting there. I've actually got some good shots before but I knew this one will look the same.
Then the second guy started to approach. At that point, I had my Elmar-M 50mm on M2 pulled out from collapsed position and ready to shoot from hip, just waiting for the right moment.
It's photo's like this that make me want to stop being afraid to take a picture if I'm not sure it's perfectly focused, perfectly exposed or fast enough shutter speed to stop shake.
