Review on Mr.Zhou's USD50 half case

happy with my case for M8 as well. can use it even with M7, although dimensions of course are not exactly same and LCD "hole" in the back exists, nothing prevents using the camera.

I received one of Mr. Zhou's all black cases for my M6 a month or so ago and absolutely love it. The camera no longer feels right without it on. It fits like a glove, offers some protection, and really helps me lock the camera in for slower shutter speeds.

For those of you looking for a strap to pair it with, I ordered a 45" black Gordy's strap, and it is a very nice pairing.

Mr. Zhou is very pleasant to deal with-- have his case on my M8, works, but you do not get as many "film changes" to loosen it up as quickly. ;-)

Everything was promptly delivered and as we discussed.

Thanks, John

I have a very nice case for my M6, and would like one for a Bessa R2A. Any word if/when it will be available?

Thanks everyone. It's really energizing me when I saw your feedback. I will keep improving my cases. Meanwhile, if you have question about the case you received or you have suggestions, feel free to contact me. I check RFF and ebay message box everyday.

@Thomas, the case for Bessa R2 is available.

Mr. Zhou, feedback was given from my side and I will not repeat the praise (except after R3A case I also bought the brown case for my M4 and it is excelent as expected).
One question though - any chance of making a case for Nikon rangefinders? I'd love one! I think it would greatly enhence ergonomics of my S3, more so than that of a Leica.

I just received a S2 from BTMarcais two days ago. Therefore, I can make case for S2. But I am not sure if the case for S2 can also fit S3 or other early Nikon rangefinder cameras like S, SP.

Any input will be helpful.

I just received the Zhou case for my M6, it fits perfectly and looks well made. It will work well for what I need. I got the one with no ASA cutout as I tend to scrape the back of my cameras on zippers, etc. Cameras are like old guitars, they tend to have belt buckle, clothing scrapes on the back.

I also like the price as my M6 (pristine) and Summitar only cost me $1500 and I couldn't see paying 20% or more for a case. Thank you Mr. Zhou.

I have a Zhou case for my G2 and it is a very nice case. Its not in the same class as the Luigi cases but still well done. I did think the strap was a little narrow and the Luigi strap shines here. If you can afford the Luigi go for it but the Zhou is still an excellent case. I must compliment his service also. Shipped very fast.

I have a zhou case and strap on the way. Can't wait to try them out after all of the positive reviews.

If I ever get an M body again, a Zhou case will be a first purchase for it. I'm currently using a Zhou wrist strap and couldn't be more pleased. Bottom line the man makes good products and is a great pleasure to deal with.

Thanks so much for making cases for Bessas. As soon as I saw that they were available I bought two, one for my R2A and L.

They both arrived last week and look as good as the Zhou case that is on my Leica.

Thanks again.

I bought a black case with red stitching for my M2. It is a bit of a tight fit, but I have no complaints, I know the leather will loosen a bit with usage and time. It is a beautiful, well made case, it is money well spent to protect a beautiful camera.

Thank you, Zhou.:)

Mr Zhou half case

Mr Zhou half case

Do yo know if this case can fit on a voigtlander bessa r2?

Mr Zhou has just started advertising on his Ebay website, half cases for the Bessa R2 and I am waiting for mine to arrive.
I already have a black Zhou case for my 111F which is an absolute delight to use and is extremely good value considering the opposition.
One minor point to consider is that his LTM case fitments include 111A but not 111B which is curious as I understood these cameras were near identical, physically, and my Leica case is slightly too large for my Reid (111B) whereas it suits my 111F like a kid glove.
Nevertheless I remain a very satisfied customer and no, I have no other connection with Mr Zhou and his company

I ordered on on Ebay from Mr. Zhou for my Leica M8.2, but it hasn't arrived yet. I'm hoping it does a good job protecting the camera. I know the one on the M6 is perfect. Nice product for a lot less than Luigi case, but those Luigi cases are yummy looking.

I bought two Zhou cases a year apart. The first on is for my M4P. I found the feel and handling on the camera to be first rate, but it is a bitch to remove so I can reload film. Zhou explained to me by e-mail that I bought a special priced one and all the regular priced ones fit better.

So I bought one at regular price for my Zeiss Ikon Z1. Again,it looks great and feels and functions terrifically. But...it is a bitch to remove,....etc. It too may be a very tight fit.

I just wanted to add this comment so that all you who order this good looking and very well made case should know that it is a very tight fit.

On the other hand, my Leica made 1/2 case for my M8, while costing a lot more money, feels and handles as well as Mr. Zhou's and is very easy to remove. If money is no object, try some other brands such as Luigi's.

I'll keep my Mr. Zhou cases and put up with the difficult removal, but if I had it to do all over again....but that's another story.
