Hi RAID,
Just noticed your nokton shots
LOVE your Wife's 'new' haircut , SHE looks FAB
and loved the 1.4 nokton shot the most
though I did very much like the one of your Daughter
Is this a new acquisition
I am very MUCH enjoying seeing what this lens can do on FILM
Best- h

Hello Helen,
Which sequence of Nokton photos are you referring to?
I have too many "lens tests" with all these lenses!
The photos I posted above in this thread were taken with a borrowd Nikkor 5cm 1.1 (from Kiu). The recent photos in the RFF Gallery were taken with the old Zeiss Jena 5cm 1.5. In fact, my lens is from the 1930's. If you don't own such a lens, Helen, get one.

ooops ...sorry Raid meant the nikkor 1.1
I can be a 'space cadet' /my mind & thoughts RACING

Anyway I liked your shots here on this thread /nikkor 1.1
& EVERYONE ELSE HERE AS WELL...;)

Awesome LENS INDEED!!!

I was fortunate to have obtained as loaners at the same time the Nikkor 50/1.1, the Canon 50/0.95, the Noctilux 50/1.0. Each of these three lenses is unique. I have to accept it that my fast lens is a Canon 50/1.2.

Kiitos did a superb job on my 1.1. The completely re-cemented the elements in it. If you wanted to send your lens to me or maybe Jon because he's closer although I'm not sure if he wants to volunteer for that, I would be happy to send the lens to Kiitos for you.

Kiu, I will be attending a meeting at a building about a minute's walk from Kiitos next Tuesday, so if you can get your lens to me before then I will take it to Kiitos in person!!!

Ok seriously though, that frame line is a wee bit too tight, but you know that if you want to send your lens to Kiitos for adjustment, I'll take care of it for you!

Luckily I had a chance to use Nathan's Nikkor-N 50mm F1.1 last weekend. We met at Noryangjin fishmarket and took some shots.

This lens, Nikkor-N 50mm F1.1 is nicer then I expected! It shows crazy swirly bokeh even stopped down to f1.4. Moreover the resolution of four-corners is good. I appreciate trying this lens Nate! I'm always thinking about this lens after mounting it on my SP. Quite impressive!
I'm gonna post high-resolution images on my blog soon.

I've always been curious about this lens and it's great to see some images.
