Leica nuts
Definitely M3 but there are so many repaints.
I'm guessing there would be less re painted M2s.
But who could know for sure?
Any decent original black paint M3 is serious money. (as you probably already know)
I've been looking for a good one for about 4 years. I came close in March but when I saw it in real life it was just too rough for the asking price.

My gear needs to be functional, not simply cute. The only BP I kept was my Leicavit because I got a sweet deal on it. ymmv.

12 grand sounds about right. Tough to find them in mint condition because the paint wears pretty easily.

Now there's an intersting thing ... I was browsing the gallery and spotted an image I assumed was one of yours (it wasn't) before checking this thread!

I've been a bit lax in posting images for a while. Maybe I can start adding some more in a couple weeks. I've GOT new photos, just haven't had time to shoot them AND post them, much less deal with work, family, life, etc...
:bang:
Whose photo was it? There are a couple people that every now and then I look at their work and could see myself shooting it the same way. Always an interesting experience.

Ok. we can go back on topic now if anyone wants.
