Every day now it's the D700, plus the E-P2 (both for work).

The E-P2 is unfortunately pulling me away from using film in my free time. Hopefully it won't be permanent!

Helen, why not try a M8 from a friend for a few days and getting one used after selling the M6.
The money from the M6 + the cost for an imaginary EP2 gets you there and I guess, it will make you veeeery happy.
I love my M8.2 - it's everyday with me and does most of my photos now.

Wow Helen. You are gonna try Nikon now?? Can't wait to see what you do with the Nikkor. But are you keeping the M2?

I'm playing with my only digital camera (iPhone aside) Pentax K-7 with 35-70 3.5-4.5 from my first camera, SFX from 1987.

Just finished the test roll in my "new" Chinon Infrafocus 35f-ma that I bought on ebay after seing camera.bear's post earlier in the thread. I was intrigued by it. The camera is so ugly it is almost beautiful! Actually it has some features that I wish all compacts had - manual ASA setting (only up to 400), thread for screw filters and manually controlled pop-up flash.

The original receipt was in the box, the thing cost £90 in 1982.

A Nikon N70 with an 85/2 AIS-Nikkor. It's loaded with Legacy Pro (Neopan) 400.

The N70 has a horrible interface -- unless you just want to shoot it in manual; then the N70 is actually very nice. It has a great, uncluttered finder, a spotmeter, focus confirmation, the shutter and film advance are quiet, and it's dirt-cheap.

And the 85/2 is a really wonderful portrait lens, and I've had mine since... well, it's an old friend.

The M6 is getting boxed up to send to Sherry for a CLA and an MP finder upgrade, and the 35 Biogon-C is being prepared for a secret mission!

Congrats on the Infrafocus. I have really liked shooting mine and the pre-focus and focus lock work just about the best of any of my point & shoot cameras. The pictures came out superbly as well. I like this one so well that I am debating whether to take the Infrafocus or my XA to Boston next week. Hope that you post some of your results for us to take a look at.

Oh, by the way, today is an Trip 35 day.
