Weekend Photography Plans: What are you up to?

oddly enuff - the little Canon S90 digital for process-documentation (setup) for the DC Rollergirls. then on to shots of the event itself with the F5 and 35/1.4 plus 105/1.8 combo, prob pushed HP5+

No active picture-taking this time around, but (1) tweaking and printing from film scans, including a few prints I'm offering as prizes at tomorrow's RFF meet-up & camera pageant (our twisted little version of the Academy Awards...wish we could get Miss Piggy to show up), and (2) figuring out where and how a stray hair wound up in my Nikon P6000 (inside the lens, not on the sensor, and it's driving me a little nuts). And just plain chilling out.

Try and finish the roll of Neopan 400 in my FM2 and then develop two rolls of Neopan 400 and scan them. If I don't finish the roll then just one roll will be developed scanned this weekend.

Took the X100 for a spin on a family walk today, may go out to the Fens north of Cambridge tomorrow to carry on with a long term project I'm working on.

Will probably walk around in Montparnasse, walk through streets I haven't seen or head to a museum if it starts raining. In Paris at the moment.

I may just sit back and watch the mud wrestling match that's going on over in the Leica M subforum, about DAG.

Meanwhile, I'm doing my own M3 repair. Outcome as yet unknown but it's fun :D

Don sent me a long email in which he explained the facts about Talbot's claims. That guy was not telling the truth, and Don was going out of his way to provide professional services to him.

RFF meet at Manuel's this morning after stopping by Showcase to try out the Nikon D7000 (I absolutely hated it!). Picked up a $30 Coolpix leather case for $5 to put my cell phone in! They must have a couple hundred of these in bins and they are very nice! Also, they have 14 mp Coolpix cameras S80 and S1100, I think, both new for $125.

Picked up a roll of Acros 100.

Shot a bit with the R4 at the Paris on Ponce antique mall. That is about all so far.

Very windy out today but got some shots on the Norfolk Southern line using my Canon AE-1program, Tokina 135mm lens, & Ektar 100.

Today I brought out the 4x5, shot a roll of Acros 100 with a 6x7 back, it's in the Fixer as I type...
Shot with 4 different lenses...I was doing some testing with exposure...

You inspire me to use my Linhof.

I have a Linhof 4x5 with a 6x7 back that I have never used! It is a heavy monster camera, but I could use it carefully by "driving" the camera to location, and then place it on a heavy tripod. I have one Schneider convertible lens for the camera.

I had no plan to shoot today, but a couple of friends invited me and my wife for a walk in the countryside around here. The day was windy and clear and I was feeling a little bit nostalgic: I took my first "serious" camera and put an expired negative color film in it.
Which Camera ? A Minolta SRT 101 more or less 40 years old (lens was a Rokkor 50mm f1,7). Not really sure if still working, in a couple of days we'll know! It was fun anyway!

I am looking forward to seeing some results from that walk, Robert.
We just got back from having dinner, and I used the Summicron 35mm at 1/15 wide open. It works well for me.

scanned the f2a/hp5 negs and posted a couple of shots in the gallery. went to the hospital to see our dear friend chester poe. took the x100 and made some shots with iso 800/green filter settings, f2. posted 3 of those. very productive photo weekend ...
