What's safe and effective to use with a Match Technical or other soft release button to deter it from unscrewing?

I'd be astonished if a tiny dab of LocTite Blue didn't work.

Pretty sure Mr. Tom Abrahamson from rapidwinder.com recommends a small dab of nail polish on the threads. This has worked for me in the past.

I have made a habit of a light twist at the first and last shot.

White glue, very little, and let it dry before screwing in the soft release. Another suggestion from Tom A. Works great. And removable easily.

. . . . . so far so good with advise given in the past to twist the soft release to validate it is tight every time the camera comes out and goes back into the bag.
