Stuff the case in your pocket for the few minutes it takes you to load -
unless you're Barnnacking, of course. ;o)
You won't hurt anything if the MT case falls to the ground.
My vote is for the handling, too!

Steve, here's a shot of my Canon P which came with it's original leather case.
I can't stand the big bulging cover, but the half-case looks quite good. Wish it was black.
But I have to say that Mr. Zhou's case looks more refined and I can see that the bumps will help with the handling.

Would the canon P case fit my Canon L1 ? I had the original case but my brother lost it a few years back and Ive been using a generic case from a camera swap

So which Zhou case fits a FED-2 and/or Zorki 4?
Steve
I just tried it: the case for the Canon P fits the Zorki 4 perfectly, but one thing I don't know: my Zorki 4 has no strap lugs, so I don't know if these fit in if yours has them.

Zhou case for my L1
I emailed Mr.Zhou last night and got a very quick response. He was not sure if the P case would fit because of the low speed shutter dial on the front of the L1 body.On closer examination I think the P case will work because the case is cut away on that side and the low speed dial is almost touching the top plate and very tight to the lens body 1/16th or less with my 50mm 1.2 .I have lugs in the same position so no problem with that.If this doesn't work Ive been contemplating on procuring a P body so it will be a win win anywayI just tried it: the case for the Canon P fits the Zorki 4 perfectly, but one thing I don't know: my Zorki 4 has no strap lugs, so I don't know if these fit in if yours has them.

Well my case arrived in short order and generally fits my L1 body. The case is a tight fit for the low speed dial and will need modification to work properly. I will Email Mr.Zhou about modification of another P case to fit better. Since I'm asking for modifications I will also ask to lower the case edge around the pc outlet on the left side and move the snap body below center of the case on that side .Pictures of the fit and proposed changes will be posted at a later date.

It Is What It Is
Getting in late on this ,but I've read somewhere that the Zhou straps work much better with the triangle splits than they do with the round split rings.

Anyone know if the Leica III cases will fit a Canon IVSB? or just any Canon LTM with Slow Speed dial?
I was looking at the Leica III Leicavit/winder case and even sent an email about wether or not this would fit a Canon LTM with Rapidwinder, he wasnt sure as he's never tried it nor has he made a case for any Barnack styled Canons.
It almost appears that it would work, but unlike the Leica's the Canons have sharp angled corners versus the nicely round ends of a Leica.
If it would work, it would def. be worth the 65$ to me :]
btw. Gordy makes some seriously nice straps, although the Zhou straps look just a bit nicer
Im really wanting a matching half case and strap for my Canon IVSB and RapidWinder.

Just tried a Canon IIF in two of my Leica IIIa cases, that's a no-go. Maybe a Canon without a flash rail on the side might fit in a IIIc or later case.

Finally took some shots of the case on my L1.As you can see it is a tight fit for the low speed dial on the front. Back works out fine and if I can have a new case modified on the P.C. side as suggested in my 2nd post It should work well.

My Black Mr Zhou Case on my New 7S Body.
My Black Mr Zhou Case on my New 7S Body.
Bought this to fit my Black P, which I sent back.
This also fits my new 7S quite well. So I am keeping the P Case.
Highly Recommended. I had a Tan Mr Zhou Case for M5 and I loved it. This is every bit as good!

Stefan.
if i got it correctly, it should then also fit a zorki 4k just fine, as it doesn't have strap lugs? thanks in advance.
