Today I informed my wife that she may now be possibly married to the person with the world's largest collection of Jeanneret Monobloc 6x13 glass plate magazines. She was, um, suitably impressed.

Wow, how many plates can each magazine hold?

Each one holds 6 plates. I already had five magazines, so now I can shoot quite a bit while in the field.

MFM,
All those Series 1 lenses were highly regarded in the day. Indeed you have something unusual there.
Well, I've got the 90mmm Macro, the 70-210 zoom and now the 35-85. I'd love to have the 600mm Solid Cat!

Thirty plates with what I originally had - add ten more magazines to that count and now we can shoot NINETY plates!

The question is, can you carry 90 plates of glass!

Just bought a Voitlandr Lanthar 85mm f3.5 in Nikon S mount. I have wanted one for a while but they are not cheap or easy to find and are often corrupted by haze, This one was affordable and claims to be haze free. I am interested to try it out and see how it stacks up to the Nippon Kogaku 85mm f2.

I bought the 35-85mm and 70-210mm Series 1 brand new back in the day...picked up the 135mm 2.3 off the auction site and lastly found the 28-90mm Marco at a yard sale.
The first two are Pentax K mount the last two Nikon...the 135mm gets used the most these days...

Just had a Petzval 80.5/1.9 in Nikon mount arrive from Lomography in Hongkong. Intend to use it on my F3 with mainly black and white film.

SMC Pentax-A 150mm f/3.5 for the Pentax 645. Shawn said I could buy lenses, but not bodies. Didn't you, Shawn?

I was given the 80mm 2.8 Blue Dot & 180mm 4.5 Super lenses from a friend...so I had no choice but to buy the Mamiya C220 body...working on my second roll...

Two 72mm filters for the Series 1 35-85-a yellow # 8 and a #15 orange. Oh- and I have a light seal kit for the Vivitar 220/SL that came with the 35-85 on order.

In a sense - you pull the dark slide out until it stops, take the picture, then you pull the entire cassette out until it meets the end of the dark slide. As you do that the just-exposed plate goes to the bottom of the pile. You then push the button that’s on the side of the cassette and slide everything back into the camera, and then repeat the process for the next shot. Nice thing is that each magazine is self-contained, so when you’re done with it you open the back of the camera, remove that magazine and you can insert a new one and carry on. It’s become one of my favourite cameras.

Just received this one in the post, a Kyoei Super-Acall 3.5/105mm in LTM mount. It should fit nicely on my Canon P which has 100mm frame lines. Very nice clean glass and the price was fair. But the focus ring is quite stiff so I need to lube the helicoid. Any tips on how to open this one, maybe someone here has got experience in servicing this lens?
