Leica LTM Show off your Leica I/II/III/LTM Camera

Leica M39 screw mount bodies/lenses
Actually am Olympus lens hood.. it fits nicely but really not very useful.. the Industar lens body turns as you focus it, do you really need a round hood.

I simply gotta ask, what tabletop tripod is that? It is very nice!

YO !! a Great GIFT from an Old Gent who is a fan of my YouTube Channel !! it is a 1946-47 vintage IIIc with 50mm f2 Summitar -- i did a first test roll - it has slow speeds fault, rangefinder patch, flash synch shorting out but I did a VIDEO all about it which you can see here :

Fail attempt on the very first roll on III mod F with nickel 5cm/3.5 and Neopan 400

Is it because my bad eyes (left dominant) on focusing (I have no issue with M3/M9/MM)

Any tips will be most welcome and appreciated

I really don't know if the rangefinder accurate as the trader has not give any test result prior to the deal (he provide buy back guarantee).
The viewfinder seems to be accurate when I compare to other cam, it show the same distance on the lens ring

Point the camera at the moon and see if the rangefinder images overlap at infinity. That's the easiest test.

If it doesn't, it's a very easy fix with the screwmount Leicas, regardless of which model you have. You just need some good precision/"jeweller's" screwdrivers.

I am sending the unit back to the seller and have it check and test properly, something must be not working as the whole roll not focus

My Leica IIIg with 1 of only 800 35mm Summicron Aspherical lenses made in Leica Thread Mount. These were made only for the Japanese market.

I think it's still worth looking up how to adjust at infinity, with use it's something you'll probably want to do occasionally anyway to keep it accurate.

This one from the third roll with PAN 100 and Jupiter 12

This #2 photo taken with Nickel 5cm/3.5 on TX400

Apparently the repair guy found out that the lens got some spacing in between and he got it fix, hope it will be acceptable by then.

The Jupiter 12 is likely to be slightly soft on a Leica as it uses the Contax RF standard, not the Leica one. A lot of people claim they can't tell the difference, and that the depth of field covers it, but I definitely can.

Although I will say that, looking at the second photo, the issue seems less to be the focus of the lens itself, and more the focus of the scan. The focus point is obviously somewhere on the foremost ball collector, but nothing is particularly sharp.

What scanner are you using to digitise these?

I send them to the lab to process and scan, they use Noritsu HS1800.I will rescan with Epson when I got the film back

I do agree with you that Jupiter 12 is soft

I'm relatively new to Leicas LTMs and copies but the last picture shows me something of the origin of the design of my Tower Type-3 by Nicca. When I saw the flash connections on the Tower, and saw they were so different from my Leica IIIf, I thought is was some Japanese design. Now I'm confused but that is normal.

Was it later added on the Leica in that post?

Here is the Tower and it's flash connections.

From the last frame of the second roll TX400, why there is a horizontal line cut thru the forehead of the guy
