Acros II: How is everyone getting along with it?

Here's some selects from a roll I just did on the Pentax MX. I like the results a lot - this was Rodinal 1:25 for 5 min. Exposed at box speed.

I just about fell in love with my first roll that I had developed back in March. These were taken with an Olympus 35RC, exposed at 50 ISO and lab developed in TMAX. All cropped from TIFF scans, the first quite heavily. These tones are sooo smooth.

Just sent my first roll of Acros II off to the lab next week. Looking forward to seeing my results!

Perhaps it is the scanning, but the photos posted so far do not look very special technically.

Love it, but $12-$16 a roll means I rarely use it.

What were you looking for that you're not seeing? I'll freely admit I am still a rank amateur at developing and scanning, but from my perspective this film is very crisp and low-grain with nice tonality. That's developing with Rodinal, which is hardly a low-grain developer.
