Quite the parking space!
I owned three Pintos! They were far better than the Vega I had for three months. Only photo I have of that P.O.S. has not been scanned, and it would take me at least a couple of days to dig through my boxes of old photos to find it. Instead I'll submit a photo of my Ford explorer after it was hit by a little old lady in a Chevy. The damage doesn't look all that bad, but it was the beginning of the end for the truck. Most of the front body parts had to be replaced, and afterwards the transmission and engine started acting up and I decided not to spend anymore money on it.I’ve owned a few but no junkers at the moment. I had a rusty Pinto once😁Anybody have pictures of their own junkers that are actually in driving condition? Or are we embarrassed to show what we actually drive? 🙂
Beautiful image! Classic.
Thanks @x-ray. They dressed so impeccably back then - like movie stars - even though they were blue-collar workers (my Dad became a cabinet maker after his semi-pro Portrait/Wedding Photography career).Beautiful image! Classic.
48 was a great year for me, the Wyatt I was born. 😀
There are some great cars there. I had a 71 Karman Ghia convertible I restores. I’ll try to find a photo and post.
