Show me a nice old car

I gotta show off, this is either a 1940 Ford Standard or a '39 with headlights from a '40 or '41. One of the very few things I'm good at, IDing early Fords.

Wasn't a '39 floor shift while '40 had three on the tree?

Yes, and I am not positive but I think '40 is when Ford finally went to hydraulic brakes, along with sealed beam headlights.

My favorite "nice old car" is my '67 Lancia Fulvia Coupé. I've just had the rocker panels rust repaired and refinished, and finally found and fitted both the original badging and the rally style bumper mount covers on the rear:

1956 Chevrolet Task Force 3100. California Historical Vehicle license plate, which means:

• Manufactured after 1922.
• At least 25 years old.
• Of historic interest.

Taken me a while to reply, Yes, though I'm pretty sure the trucks all had floor shift even though they were basically the same as the cars. Might have been a heavier duty transmission.

I'd guess it's an early to mid-60's F85 model. I haven't looked it up so it's just a SWAG on my part based on my old, foggy memory.

Kinda late here, but this Chevy is a '67. I had a 4 door version for a while. It had the 283 V-8 with 2-peed Powerglide automatic transmission.

Cheating a bit, this one was in the Mullin Museum in California. I believe the heirs to the Mullin estate have requested the collection be broken up and sold, which is sad. A 1936 Bugatti 57SC. Sony A7M II. Sony/Zeiss 55mm f/1.8 T FE.
