Wasn't a '39 floor shift while '40 had three on the tree?I gotta show off, this is either a 1940 Ford Standard or a '39 with headlights from a '40 or '41. One of the very few things I'm good at, IDing early Fords.

Yes, and I am not positive but I think '40 is when Ford finally went to hydraulic brakes, along with sealed beam headlights.Wasn't a '39 floor shift while '40 had three on the tree?

I have a hard time identifying these old Plymouth models. 1951 Plymouth... Cambridge? Cranbrook?

Taken me a while to reply, Yes, though I'm pretty sure the trucks all had floor shift even though they were basically the same as the cars. Might have been a heavier duty transmission.Wasn't a '39 floor shift while '40 had three on the tree?

I'd guess it's an early to mid-60's F85 model. I haven't looked it up so it's just a SWAG on my part based on my old, foggy memory."Not your father's Oldsmobile" -- no, more like your grandfather's. Which model and year would this be?

Kinda late here, but this Chevy is a '67. I had a 4 door version for a while. It had the 283 V-8 with 2-peed Powerglide automatic transmission.
