No Serious Portraits Allowed Only Fun Photos

x-ray, your wife winning at the slot machine prompts me to post my equivalent. Now, I have never put any money in a slot machine or bought a lottery ticket because I am just understand statisitics too much. But 3 months ago, my wife who is Cuban and I spent 2 days in Nassau waiting for her flight back to Havana from a family outisland trip. . I am always open to showing her new things and a casino was a new one. So we went to the glitzy Atlantis casino in Nassau. I gave her $5 to pay the slots. She had made 5 of the $1 bets and was $18.30 to the good. I insisted we quit just so I could say that I was a lifetime net winner at casinos. Spent that on 2 drinks at the bar there.

Thats great!!! Love the shot.

Tell her congratulations.

Neither my wife or I are gamblers. I was in Vegas 20 years ago with the TN national guard. Nothing bad, just a point to catch our transport back home but we had 24 hours to play. Anyway I dropped $20 in quarter slots just for the experience to say I did it. I won $10 and gave it to charity.

We were in Vegas as a convenient place to explore some ghost towns. The last night we went to Wynns and she took $20 to play and hit her jackpot on the second dollar. That was enough and headed back to our room.

Again great shot! You might be able to get a burger with it now and split it.

Me, circa 1990, sailing through parts of the South West Pacific on tall ship "Eye of the Wind" I am here helming the ship through waters in the Solomon Islands. But as every good pirate does, I decide I need a parrot on my shoulder.

And here, returning from a diving expedition during a tropical downpour, on the same trip. With that silly look on the face that comes with the realization that I was probably more wet and cold out of the water than I was in it.

This tunnel was a great game for this rag doll cat and sometimes still is. We used to have terrible terrible trouble catching him and putting this purely indoor cat out in his mesh enclosure from which he cannot escape and catch birds, or get on the road and get run over. He loves being out and talks politely to me and sometimes not so politely in making his case to get out. But total freedom remains uppermost in his mind so he is very hard to catch to get him out. At a certain point some years ago he conflated his liking for the tunnel with this desire to get out, and suddenly we had this capsule transfer system going and it’s worked for years. The tunnel is pushed towards the door and in he goes. No more mucking around. It’s hilarious. Same deal when he wants to get back in, or we want him in. Photo by the senior photographer here.

In my early years I have to stay at home often. To make it easier were books. I started to read all kind of books with humor.
And practice it. By grade nine I could keep my classmates laughing for some time. Sometime improvisation, but sometimes I would think ahead and keep something for specific moment.
I don't do this anymore, just sometimes. But I write encrypted comments often. I'm not looking for wide audience to get it. If only one gets it, this is bingo for me.
