Fabbed by Sony to Nikon specifications. It’s similar to Sony sensors of same megapixels, but specifies different focusing pixels. The Bayer Pattern filtration is different than Sony, as is the diffusion layer, which is thinner than on similar Sony cameras. The Z6 does work very well with adapted M-mount lenses.
Ultimately, my feeling is that you buy a certain camera, because you want to use specific lenses. Most of the Nikon Z-mount lenses have proven to be excellent performers.
