What are you listening to at the moment?

Robert Leslie - A Shard of the Mosaic. Met him in the subway in Brooklyn about 10 years ago and have been fond of this little folk gem of an album over the years.

Justin Taylor, harpsichord. Bach & Italie. Wonderful Toccata in E minor BWV 914, the Chromatic Fantasy and Fugue in D minor, Italian Concerto, some Vivaldi, Albinoni and Scarlatti.

Antônio Carlos Jobim "Stone Flower" (album)
Genre: Jazz, bossa nova
Released July 7, 1970

I have this album on a CD reissue. Calling music "timeless" is a bit cliché but Jobim's albums are truly timeless. I've listened to this CD countless times and I've never gotten tired of it.

On the computer and listening to my son play Chopin's revolution etude on the piano. I must say, it's as good as it gets for me right now 🙂
