Lens recommendations for Nikon S3

Thats so cool and good to know! Thanks! I think I would enjoy the S mount lens then. I love using the nikonos III with it.

Old thread, but I’m planning on sticking with the lenses I have been using on my S2 for the S3: 35/2.5, 50/2, 105/2.5 and 135/3.5. Part of me wants to keep my reissue 50/1.4 which I’ve never used, but I’m not sure.

The reissue 50mm is an amazing lens - no focus shift like the old 50 Sonnar-types. It is so great that I got an Amedeo adapter to use it on my Leicas. 🙂.
