It may be on the forum somewhere but is the 3.5cm f2.5 a similar optical formula to the Nikonos system 35mm f2.5?

Old thread, but I’m planning on sticking with the lenses I have been using on my S2 for the S3: 35/2.5, 50/2, 105/2.5 and 135/3.5. Part of me wants to keep my reissue 50/1.4 which I’ve never used, but I’m not sure.

The reissue 50mm is an amazing lens - no focus shift like the old 50 Sonnar-types. It is so great that I got an Amedeo adapter to use it on my Leicas. 🙂.

Thank you all for a great “Sunday after nightshift breakfast” read, it was perfect.
Especially since I have a S2 with a 50mm 1.5 and a SP with the reissue 50mm.
Now and then a wide and a tele lens feels missing, a 105 seems to give it self,
but the choices of 35mm does not feel that easy, or should i say need vs want?
2.5 or 1.8, both should be fine, the 2.5 would bring my wallet more joy. . .
