Mine also. Luigi should patent that scent and make Luigi Leather car fresheners 🌲 🙂My Luigi case for my M9 is fourteen years old this year. It has held up very well, hardly aging, and still has that leather scent.
I also have a Mr Zhou case for my M9, which I used when I first got the camera. It's decent, but I prefer the Luigi for feel and scent, haha.I bought a Mr. Zhou half-case for my M6 for $60. Fifteen years later it's still going strong. Cheers, OtL
I doubt very much a 1930's Leica will be used as hard today as they were back in the day, so what's changed to make them so much more vulnerable?
What was the reason for the top picture? The Luigi case and Contax were not thrown in the water deliberately, I hope. But if an accident, I'd think they would be retrieved immediately, not photographed!I have several Luigi cases and straps for my LTM, M and digital-M Leicas and for my Contax II as well. Proper craftmanship!

I also have some Mr Zhou cases which are pretty good too.
A homage to Capa and D-Day I presume. What was the reason for the top picture? The Luigi case and Contax were not thrown in the water deliberately, I hope. But if an accident, I'd think they would be retrieved immediately, not photographed!
