Reviewing this thread ... hmm! It looks like this lens is a lovely, and different, performer ... and it's not *that* expensive. Hmm. Do I need another 50mm? Hmm Hmm hmmm... Probably not, but I'll keep a tab on it.

A few days before buying this lens I thought: "I do not need a new lens, I do not need a new lens, I do not need ..."
Next I thought :"I do not need a new lens, another 50 but I would like to have it"
Resistance is futile!
 
Current rationalization is that I've added another body to my Leica kit so perhaps I actually do need another 50mm lens... ;)

Huh? 50mm lenses are _always_ needed. New, old, yada, yada, yada. There is no reason for it not to exist; to not be in the bag ;)
