Canon LTM Canon Camera Holder for L1?

Can anyone tell me what model Canon Camera Holder will fit the L1 camera, if any?
I thought the VT Holder would work then noticed that the tripod mount is on the wrong side.

From a 1957 Canon accessory brochure. L-series cameras require Camera Holder L, part number CADVC.

This is where the all the terminology seems to get confusing. I think the L1 is actually a V-series camera. I assumed the L Holder would be correct for the L1 but it appears those fit the Model 7 cameras as seen here: Camera_Holder

I've been researching this for a few weeks and finally had to ask because I haven't been able to narrow it down. I contacted the owner of that site to see if he can point me in the right direction too.

You are correct that the L-series are based on the V-series cameras. Same chassis, shutter, viewfinder, etc. The only difference is the film advance lever; on the bottom for the V-series, on top for the L-series. I suspect the camera holder for the L-series will fit on a Canon P and VI-L too. Can't comment on the Canon 7, I sold mine several months ago.

If I recall the bottom plate on a 7 and L1 look to be the same width and length and tripod location so I can see it working. I never tried swapping one on the other though
 
I guess I should have asked in my first post -- are people looking for these holders because they can be a sort of grip for the camera, or is there some other purpose/reason for getting one (?being able to put the camera on a tripod to create a vertical image?).
 
I have a Canon camera holder R2 that occasionally has been used with an M Leica. Decided to see if there was any information on the web, apparently for use with a Canonflex SLR.

The holders provide a more solid mount for tripods overall. I like them a lot for the side socket to vertically mount the camera but not for tripod use. I usually carry two cameras with a HoldFast Money Maker shoulder harness (yes, it's a nerdy as it sounds) and that allows the camera to hang a little more comfortably straight down.

For me it would be the ability to mount either way on the tripod. I also like that the tripod attachment is more central.

Before I knew the difference I snagged a non-L holder but it doesn't fit my L2, P, or 7sz.

That turned out to be a bust. The seller sent me an incorrect holder and offered to exchange it for the correct one. When I asked about them covering return shipping the seller ghosted me. eBay refunded my money and now I have a a holder I can't use. I never heard from the seller again.

The V-series cameras come in two flavors: Trigger and Lever. If the name has a "T" in it, such as VT, it's a trigger advance with the lever/trigger on the bottom. If it has an L (Or just an L as in L1), it's a lever wind with the top-mounted advance. I've owned V-series cameras in both flavors.

The VI series maintained that nomenclature. VI-L for top-mounted lever advance and VI-T for bottom-mounted trigger advance. The P didn't have either designator in the name (no L or T), but it was essentially a budget VI-L.
