Our next rendezvous is just 10 days away! Who will come this time?!
Our rendezvous will be on Saturday, April 5th, at 12 noon.
Location: Taborspace Cream Coffee + Bakery
5441 SE Belmont St. Portland, OR 97215
All are welcome!
I wish I could bring that overhauled Contax II with me but I do not think it will be this meet-up. You'll have to settle for me and whatever I can find. That Pixii has to be somewhere in the house. I'll bring it if I can find it.
Miles.

I'll be there. Digging through the midden looking for that obscure camera. ;o)

Miles and Max showed up and we all closed the joint around 4:00. We had a vote and decided that cameras are all done and it's phones now. ;o)
Maybe Lomography will come out with a phone that loads with Minox film. And one with a sticky note pad so you can leave text messages.Miles and Max showed up and we all closed the joint around 4:00. We had a vote and decided that cameras are all done and it's phones now. ;o)
And a Rotary Dial.
I'll bet there would be the counter-culture that would buy this. We'll use a Sonnar design lens.

Is B&H taking orders against future delivery? I'm on board for this one.
I think we can do a virtual rotary dial in firmware, using the touch screen.
Using film will save on firmware development and memory requirements.

Way cool. C++ or FORTRAN? Like I have to ask.
Assembly Language for the low-level stuff, Fortran+C or upper level code. I did a whole GUI in Fortran where Screen Memory was mapped into a Common Block by rewriting the Page Table Entries.

Man, you should have done it in COBOL. LOL You are out there in Wizard Guru land with that stuff. I did some C family coding but it was simple classroom stuff and I never was happy about it. That did not help my career at P@B. AL is a real language, I kind of think of the C family as a kludge. Anyway, I know you got it to run seamlessly and that is what we get paid for. Error prone code is cheaper. ;o)
