Luckily, I found a lens cap that fits over the SQUAREHOOD hood for the 50mm Summicron v4. Gave up on the soft release quickly, the shutter release of the M-A doesn't really require one.

Maybe I am crazy but I sold my most beautiful M-A film camera. After a couple of months I yearned again for a film M. I bought a recently CLA'd M3 Double Stroke. It is oh so so much nicer than the M-A. Smoother mechanics, lovely .91 Viewfinder. I am back in love or am I just crazy and/or fickle?
