Tiny Voigtlander 35mm f3.5 Aspheric

I just picked up the Nikkor 3.5cm f3.5 in Contax mount. The reviews seem mixed, but I’m encouraged by the classic love for the Elmar Tessar wide angle design.
The Nikon Wide-Angle lenses are "S-Mount", and might be a little bit off on the Contax camera. They will focus slightly too-close based on the Rangefinder. With the F3.5- should not be noticeable on film.

A couple with my 1949 3.5cm F3.5 on the Leica M Monochrom.

Yes, thanks for the reminder! You are absolutely right. I’ll only be using it for film so probably will not go through the trouble of calibrating to the Contax focal plane.

Those are gorgeous images, great examples!

the more I use this lens the more I realize that so-called fast lenses are not necessary (for me).
thank goodness one is never to old to find out that spending a lot of money to find out that spending less money is the way to go!
Meanwhile, here's an unconventional composition using the 35mm f3.5 Color-Skopar VM lens.
