I honestly didn't realize it which is crazy. I thought my eyes were just tired at times. haha. I went to get my drivers license in Chile and it was so bad I thought the machine was broken. Then he made me do an eye chart on the wall and I could not see anything with that eye and that's when I realized. I should have known when my camera´s diopter was maxed out and it still wasn't that clear. Pretty dumb in hindsight. I still have one bad eye but no cataracts in that one.If you are like so many of us the question asked will be, "Why didn't I get this done sooner?" Good luck with it. Great vision is wonderful.
Contax Tvs! I owned one of these ages ago ... a lovely camera! 😀
I always loved the ad with Lester Bogen sitting on a 3040 tripod.Leon, I have one of those from back when they were labelled "Bogen". Fine tripod it is too--by any name.

Thanks for the heads up! 26 rolls just ordered.500 ml Rodinal x 2
70 rolls Orwo NP100 under the Arista label. Nice little sale price there.
300' Foma 100
I needed the developer but the film was just to lock in prices before the tariff premium took effect. Never can have too much B&W film. Stuff lasts a long, long time.
If you home develop, the caps of the Aristapan cartridges are insanely hard to get off. After some trial and error, I now just leave a tongue of film exposed when I rewind, so I can pull it when placing on the development reels. Nice film though. Great pricing; almost as "cheap" as bulk loading. Thanks for the heads up! 26 rolls just ordered.

I do all my own film processing at home, and use the daylight loading Agfa and Lab Box developing tanks. So, for my purposes, I *always* leave a tongue of film leader out ... It's a much bigger pain to have to fish the leader back out of the cassette even if you aren't trying to load a spiral reel tank. Thanks for heads up, I do my own processing.
The quality of Visoflex items is a high point. Do you think the original destination for your cable release might be 'scientific' rather than 'photographic'?Twin cable release, for Visoflex use. I already have an unbranded release, but when you come across the pukka Leica item, you just have to buy it.
