For the LOVE of COLOR...Post Yours

This weekend we went to see an exhibition of Sylvia Plachy and a hungarian fashion photographer from the early 1900s. It was in the Robert Capa Center, in a beautiful old building, worth visiting if you’re traveling to Budapest!

Right before finishing our visit, the museum caretaker old lady pulled me aside, maybe because she noticed the camera around my neck, “Let me show you something!” On sunny days, the sun shines through the windows for a couple minutes, painting the staircase in many colors.

I was sure there would be loads of photos of the scene on instagram and google maps, so i did not care to take yet another one (especially with my camera loaded with b&w film haha), but as we walked down the stairs, i had to pull my phones camera for this.

Picked up a cheap Fotodiox PK > 4/3 adapter so took out the Rikenon 50/1.7 for a quick spin on the Olympus E-420, 2 things quickly became apparent because of the conditions, the limitations of the Camera are being revealed, more so in the B&W pics over in the Digital B&W thread, which is a good thing and also the Fotodiox adapters tolerances, whilst looks well made, are shall we say, not forgiving and doesn't give a lot of confidence in its long term use.
