So I bought a GW690 that needed a repair. I figured it was the only way into the camera since I'm not flush.

So far the known issues are 1. a loose shutter speed ring (I removed the lens and tightened the screws, still a bit loose...
2. Shutter button doesn't release the shutter
3. There is clearly something off in the winding assembly. And it doesn't allow the winder to move. I had removed the spring and i was able to disengage the gear the locking mechanism.

This is the first thing I'm going to tackle.

It looks like the post that the spring from point 3 goes on is assembled incorrectly or that it shifted. not sure what the reason is.
I've tried to manipulate it with little tools to move it to where the second picture has it. This is a screen shot from a video(the one with a finger). I tried lifting up the mechanism after unscrewing the 4 screws holding the assembly down, but it seems like it's linked with the range finder section, is there a best practice for removing it. I figure the best way to get a look at that mechanism is pulling it off. Any guidance is appreciated!
