i was trying to make a post comparing five different FSU M39 lenses which included ten photos. I kept getting the message that my message was too long to be posted. i reduced to five photos, still got the message, reduced to two photos, still got that message and finally i gave up.

Am i doing something wrong or do have to make a new comment for every picture?

cheers

Yeah, if possible it's best to keep the photos under 1200 pixels per side, and compress them into JPGs in the sRGB color space.

Best,
-Tim

Hmm. I suspect something with cache or cookies, might be the culprit. Settings here are quite large for message length (80k) and attachment count (25.) Attachments should be 1600 pixels maximum on the longest side.

Well, I hope it isn’t staff members doing anything strange with user accounts. Something similar happened to me once—when I inserted a larger photo into the text area, I ended up getting a warning that the text was too long.

You’re one of the wonderful staff members who doesn’t use misleading titles or try to trick people into clicking posts that lead to your business site. I really appreciate that.
