UK Region Northern Shooting Day

I'd be up for a Northern meet but so close to the London get together and my looming new circumstances I may have to see how it goes. I'd go for Manchester or Newcastle though...and coming from Geordie heritage it hurts to say...Manchester may be best for most people.

Keep bumping the thread and I'll keep and eye on it and see when looks likely and whether my bank managers face is smiley or mighty mad.

Glasgow-Manchester return is a bit more railway exposure than I can tolerate in one single day so I'll probably come down for the whole week-end. I'm sure there are plenty of good value B&Bs to accomodate a single, non-smoking guy and his Leicas for one night...

I can make either dates (so far anyway) if you'll allow AF in the form of my Hexar Silver. Tend to use my Oly OM-1 as my manual/mechanical RF option, even though it's an SLR.

Well I've certainly no problem with it. In fact I've really wanted a Hexar AF for quite a while now and I'd love to have a good look at one.

I'll be bringing my Ricoh GR-1 and Contax G1 neither of which are strictly rangefinders, so it won't feel left out. 😉
