Does anyone here have experienced the non Leica mags?

HK supplies is about 50$. Sounds good to me, maybe too good..

OK... a follow-up question from me. Would I be able to see the 50mm framelines (without wearing glasses/spectacles) if I had the 1.25X magnifier on my (already) .85 M6?

I know I am 'greedy', but I bought the .85 M6 so that I could use the 50mm and 90mm lenses. I assume that it would be ideal with the 90mm lens, but may be too much magnification (1.25 x .85 = 1.06x) to see the 50mm framelines properly?

I don't mind having to move my head around a bit, as long as the 50mm framelines are visible in the VF, even if only in the edges.

Has anyone tried this greedy combination?

I have the HK mag and wish I had two. Hung - I can't directly answer for the 0.85 Leica, but on my 0.72 M6 the 50mm framelines are just visible with eyeglasses on. Without glasses they are very easily seen with space around the frame (but of course I can't see anything else to focus).

I had the Megaperl's 1.35x and I did NOT like it in use. I found it frustrating to use, as I could only see through it by adjusting my eye to a very narrow view. Even then I didn't like the less bright finder. Fortunately I was able to return it for a full refund. The build quality was excellent, though.

Used both. on an M7 0.85. With Glasses (I wear them also) you won't be able to see the frame lines for the 50, but outstanding for the 90. Should not need it for the 50 anyway

I just got mine to put on my M6 and M7 both 0.72 and they both work fine with 50 and 90 mm lenses. The only improvement they should have done is a rubber protective edge for those who wear glasses but that can retard storing the eyepiece back in the supplied leather case. In short, this is an indispensable item for any lenses longer than 35mm.
