This is my 1000th post. I wonder how many hours sitting here reading the forums did I put in to get this far. I've learned a lot, contributed a little, laughed and felt a bit of sorrow but I keep coming back.
I wonder what my 1001st post will be?

It is quite likely that the answer is, "TOO MANY hours"! I'm not sure if it really matters what thenext post is... we'll have to judge that on its own merit.

Don't worry about it. The Internets is a diversion to me - the equivalent of a five minute smoke break. Jump on, read a few posts, comment perhaps, jump off. It's social, you're interacting, sharing ideas and information, learning, meeting folks from around the world with similar interests, increasing your circle of friends, thinking and writing... I love these peeps who frown on others who are active on blogs or forums, as they set there eating Bon Bons watching Dancing with the Stars.

Yeah. It's no big deal. I watch "zero" TV, weeks may go by before I watch anything, literally. (...though I do like Netflix - 1 or 2 movies a week.) and my Internet activities are five minutes on/off on this an a couple other sites. Perfect for that five minute "Pomodoro Technique" break (if you're familiar). Just curious, what do you render? Are you a 3D guy?

0 tv! i would love to say that about me :D i work on tv so i watch it a lot there and at home i love to see what other stations have - i rarely enjoy but i am very curious... i just fear if curiosity kill me and my brain...

RFF is somewhere I usually visit first thing in the morning whilst having my coffee - instead of reading a newspaper I suppose.

Well, to me it is an interesting diversion and a way to keep my fingers in photography while I wait for more chances to actually get out and shoot.
