Three years ago, RFF member "Rafael" held a give-away here to celebrate his 1000th post. I was the lucky winner, and at that time I promised to carry on the tradition when I reached 1000. Well, in the haziness of my world-event addled brain, I let 1000 slip by! But better late than... whatever.
So to celebrate all the positive, thoughtful, and often humorous thoughts I've read here over the past few years, I'm going to hold another "1000th Post Give-Away". I'll arrange to send the winner a Gordy Strap of their choice (http://www.gordyscamerastraps.com/index.htm).
If you want to enter, post a photograph of yours in this thread that you feel best evokes the idea of 'beauty'. Feel free to post as many as you'd like, but your name will only be entered once in the drawing. I'll close the entries at 5pm PST next Friday, April 1. I'll then draw a name at random from all those that entered and announce the winner on Saturday.
