I've found more, hidden under the bed. And it's about 12 rolls of different stuff, so I have to process 12 different things. I don't even remember shooting these.

reviving this thread - today, I began working on my most recent backlog, and after processing 2 rolls
I realized , "2 down 15 to go" , same count as this old thread
I'm now in a new place, had to gather my equipment and shake out my work flow in new surroundings - so far , no issues

I just finished a short trip with 5 rolls of kentmere 400 shot. I think I will wait until I got 8 rolls to develop at once in largest size tank that Paterson offers.

Ok - so I leaned a couple things
First - as you might be able to see from the first photo below
I set up a metal ruler between the open shower door and the fixed portion and used it to hang my film
This morning, I rolled out of bed and went to cut the 2 rolls hanging
And I decided to open the door a little to get better access, not realizing in my morning stupor
that the metal ruler was not fixed and would come crashing down to the floor with the film
Fortunately the 3 sec rule was in place and I quickly picked up and cut the film
Second - this one is new to me, I discovered that my iPhone can invert colors, so I placed my negatives in the plastic sheet, on my laptop, with a white background, and used the iPhone camera to get a positive view of the frames - awesome
Here's a view of before after and tweaked w levels:

Oh the joy of reducing the backlog
14 down, 5 1/2 to go (one in camera)
I've done 6 this weekend so far
I also just purchased a Kaiser Negative cutter, where was this my whole life ?
I'm done holding 5 foot long strips and trying to find the space between the frames while cutting with a scissors - this is so so so much easier

This thread comes up to the right time.
Last weekend I did a double check of my fridge and found a 1-2 year old box with 10 undeveloped rolls! Well, I keep track of my film rolls and know exactly what scenes are in, but due to a heavy workload I used just digital since last year. Completely forgot my analogue images waiting for processing.
Now I'm very keen to see the outcome.

I just finished rolls 15-16 of the latest quest for zero
now have 5 rolls left ( I've been shooting since I started this latest development binge)

will I ever get to zero ?

Hopefully, no. I wish you many images to backlog in the future. It's what keeps you going.

marcr1230, what changing bag are you using? im using a small junky one that barely fits my hands let alone a single tank, reel, scissors...

Thats a discontinued photo flex changing room - look for them on eBay - or the Calumet clones

I'm re-titling this thread, "The never ending backlog reduction party". I'm at it again, 8 more rolls this week...
